U.S. MILITARY USES RADAR TO SPOT IEDs

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. military plans to use advanced radar to detectimprovised explosive devices. The Defense Department has enhanced a program to develop and supply themilitary with synthetic aperture radar to detect IEDs. The Pentagon programsought to provide the radars for ground forces in Iraq.
