OMAN OBTAINS ISRAELI-ORIGIN HELMETS

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Oman plans to obtain Israeli-origin helmet-mountedsystems from the United States. U.S. officials said Oman would obtain the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System in a contract with Boeing. Boeing has contracted Vision Systems International to produce the JHMCS for the F-16 fleet for Oman. Visions Systems is a partial subsidiary of the Israeli firm Elbit Systems.
