TURKEY BLAMES NEIGHBORS FOR HARBORING PKK

ANKARA [MENL] -- For the first time in more than a year, Turkey has accusedits neighbors of harboring Kurdish insurgents. Officials said the Kurdish Workers Party has found a haven primarily in northern Iraq as wellas in neighboring countries such as Iran and Syria. The officials said Turkish intelligence believes PKK fighters have been shuttling through the three countries to escape monitoring by Turkey's military.
