Turkey Decides On Foreign Sub Partner

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has selected a partner for a joint venture to
construct indigenous submarines for the navy.
Officials said the Turkish government of Prime Minister Recep Erdogan
has awarded Howaldswerke-Deutsche Werft, or HDW, the role of foreign partner
in the submarine project. They said six submarines would be ordered from HDW
in an estimated $4 billion project.
