UAE SIGNS GAS DEAL WITH BECHTEL

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates has launched a major project with the U.S. firm Bechtel. Abu Dhabi Gas Industries, or Gasco, said it signed a $1.2 billion contract with Bechtel to construct a huge natural gas plant in the UAE. The UAE firm said the facility would treat 800 million standard cubic feet of gas per day to recover 6,400 tons of natural liquefied gas.
