SAUDIS PLAY MAJOR ROLE IN EUROPEAN ISLAM

JERUSALEM [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia was said to have played a major role in thegrowing Islamic insurgency movement in Europe. A leading Saudi charity, Al Haramain Foundation, has been cited as thefinancier of mosques and other Islamic activity in Europe. Al Haramain,sponsored by the Saudi Islamic Affairs Ministry, was said to have financedIslamic insurgency activity in several European Union states.
