IRAN FOCUSES ON AIR DEFENSE, MISSILES

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Iran plans to focus on the development of air defensesystems andintermediate-range missiles. Officials said the new government of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad hasdetermined defense priorities over the next year. They said the agenda wouldensure the continuation of programs in air defense and ballistic missiles.
