UAE SEEKS RUSSIAN AIR TRANSPORTS

MOSCOW [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates has been discussing the purchaseof air transports from Russia. The UAE Air Force has been examining the prospect of procuring up to 10air transports from Moscow. Russian industry sources said negotiationsbegan in early 2005 and a decision could be reached next year.
