PENTAGON EXAMINES NEW MICRO-UAV

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. Defense Department has been examining a miniatureunmanned aerial vehicle designed to provide small military units with tactical reconnaissance. The Pentagon's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has beenexamining the Micro Air Vehicle developed by Honeywell. The MAV was one ofseveral micro-UAVs reviewed by the Pentagon's Defense Advanced ResearchProjects Agency as part of the Advanced Concept Technology Demonstrationprogram.
