U.S. FREEZES ASSETS OF JORDANIAN
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has decided to freeze the assets of aJordanian linked to Al Qaida who financed Egyptian insurgents in Europe. Officials said Abdul Latif Saleh has maintained links and supported AlQaida and Egypt's Jihad in the Balkans. They said Saleh, last seen in theUnited Arab Emirates, was also connected to Saudi businessmen as well as aSaudi-sponsored charity that supported Al Qaida activities outside of theArab kingdom.
