JSF SEEKS INCREASED TURKISH INPUT

ANKARA [MENL] -- The United States has been examining the prospect ofincreased Turkish participation in the Joint Strike Fighter. Lockheed Martin, the prime contractor of the JSF F-35 fighter-jet, plansto award additional contracts to Turkish defense firms, executives said. Sofar, Turkey has received less than $100 million in contracts for productionof JSF components.
