UK SELECTS ISRAELI POD FOR EUROFIGHTER

LONDON [MENL] -- Britain has selected an advanced Israeli navigation and targetingpod for the Eurofighter. Industry sources said Britain's Defence Ministry has agreed to procure the Israeli-origin Litening EF targeting pod for the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft for the British Royal Air Force. They said the project would be conducted through a British defense contractor, Ultra Electronics Holdings.
