ISRAELI ARABS PLOTTED MEGA-ATTACKS

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- An Israeli Arab cell sponsored by the ruling Fatahmovement planned mass-casualty attacks in the Jewish state. The three-man Israeli Arab cell was directed by Fatah to carryout strikes that would incur thousands of casualties. Security sources saidthe plots appeared to have been inspired by Al Qaida suicide strikes in theUnited States in 2001.
