SAUDI SEEKS TO BECOME REGIONAL AIR HUB

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia has sought to become a regional hub forcivilian and military aircraft maintenance. Over the last two years, the kingdom has expanded its aerospaceindustry in cooperation with Western majors. At least five Saudi firms havedeveloped expertise in assembling and overhauling components of a range ofaircraft.
