IRAN'S DEPUTY DM TARGETED DISSIDENTS

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Iran's new deputy defense minister has been identified asan assassin of dissidents abroad. The National Council of Resistance of Iran said Brig. Gen. Ahmad Vahidiplanned hundreds of operations against opposition members in Europe and otherregions. The council said Vahidi was a senior commander of the IslamicRevolutionary Guard Corps.
