TEL AVIV [MENL] -- A major Israeli defense firm has been awarded a projectto supply a heads-up display system for the U.S. Army. Israel's Elbit Systems was awarded a $57 million framework contract tosupply the Aviator night-vision imaging system/heads up display system forthe U.S. Army and other helicopters for the Defense Department. The companysaid the contract was meant to last five years.
