SYRIA CONSTRUCTS BORDER WALL ALONG IRAQ

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Syria has constructed a wall along a significantportion of its border with Iraq. Syrian diplomats said the regime of President Bashar Assad has constructed a four-meter wall along more than one-third of its northeastern border with Iraq. They said the wall has succeeded in hampering the flow of Sunni insurgents from Syria to Iraq.
