IRAQ COMPLETES 6-DAY AIR EXERCISE
BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The Iraq Air Force has completed a six-day exercise thattested its transport capability. The air force's 23rd Squadron flew two fully-loaded C-130E Hercules airtransports from Ali Base in southern Iraq to its new home at Al Muthana AirBase in Baghdad International Airport. The six-day exercise, entitled"Independent Action" and which ended on Oct. 12, was deemed the firstin a series of maneuvers meant to develop the C-130 squadron.
