ISRAEL HELPS U.S. IN BW RESEARCH

JERUSALEM [MENL] -- Israel has been helping the United States in research meant to counter a biological weapons strike. The U.S. government has allocated funds to Israeli institutions to research and develop solutions to BW. The funds have been allocated under the Biodefense Challenge Grants program, sponsored by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
