TURKISH FIRM UNVEILS LIGHT WEAPONS

ANKARA [MENL] -- A leading Turkish defense firm has unveiled its latestlight weaponry. Turkey's Machines and Chemical Industries Board has designed a range of new light weapons and accessories for military and police forces. The company, known by its Turkish acronym, MKEK, displayed some of the new products during the International Defense Industry Fair, or IDEF-2005, held in Ankara in September.
