KUWAIT MILITARY PLAGUED BY CORRUPTION

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Kuwait has acknowledged major corruption within themilitary. Officials and parliamentarians said the Defense Ministry was facing anincrease in graft and corruption within the sheikdom's armed forces. Theysaid the phenomenon has hurt combat-readiness as well as morale.
