U.S. Called To Bolster BMD Amid Arab Revolt

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The administration of President Barack Obama has been
urged to bolster U.S. ballistic missile defense amid the Arab revolt.
A leading missile defense lobbyist asserted that BMD capabilities would
be crucial in protecting U.S. interests in the Gulf and the rest of the
Middle East. The lobbyist said U.S. interests could encounter an intensified
Iranian threat amid the Shi'ite unrest in Bahrain.
