U.S. ARMY IN IRAQ RECEIVES GUN SHIELDS

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. Army has received 1,000 armored gun shieldsfor troops in Iraq. Officials said the gun shields were meant for installation on the M1114High Mobility multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles, or HMMWV. They saidinstallation was to have begun in January 2006.
