NATO DEMONSTRATES AWACS IN ISRAEL

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- NATO has demonstrated an airborne early-warning and alertaircraft in Israel. A NATO delegation arrived in Israel to demonstrate an AEW platform for the Israel Air Force. The AEW was said to contain advanced surveillance systems and marked the increasing cooperation between Israel and the Western alliance.
