LEBANON PRESSURED TO END PALESTINIAN BASES

NICOSIA [MENL] -- For the first time, the Lebanese government has come undergrass-roots pressure to eliminate Palestinian military bases. Lebanese residents and municipal councils have relayed their oppositionto Palestinian military bases. They have complained of intimidation andshootings by pro-Syrian Palestinian insurgents.
