AL QAIDA PLANS TO EXPAND JIHAD DAMAGED
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The killing of Abu Mussib Al Zarqawi has damaged Al Qaida's campaign to export Islamic insurgency throughout the Middle East. Western intelligence sources and analysts said the killing of the42-year-old Al Qaida network chief would not end the Sunni insurgency inIraq. But they said Al Zarqawi's death would significantly hamper Al Qaidaoperations throughout the Middle East, particularly in the Levant.
