JORDAN REACHES ACCORD ON COPTERS TO IRAQ

LONDON [MENL] -- Jordan has reached an agreement for the upgrade of surplusmilitary helicopters to Iraq. Industry sources said 16 surplus Royal Jordanian Air Force helicopterswould be upgraded over the next two years. They said the UH-1H utilityhelicopters would be modernized to the Huey-2 configuration. The UH-1H is a1960s-era aircraft.
