SAUDIS, BAE AGREE ON MULTIPLE ARMS DEAL

LONDON [MENL] -- Britain and Saudi Arabia have agreed on a multi-contract deal that would include the sale of the Eurofighter Typhoon and a command, control communications, computer and intelligence [C4I] system to the Arab kingdom. Industry sources said Saudi Arabia would purchase both the Typhoon andthe C4I border security system from BAE Systems. They said the deal could beannounced in July at a European defense exhibition.
