U.S. OKs Delivery Of X-Band Radar To Israel

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has agreed to transfer an advanced
early-warning missile defense radar to Israel.
Under the agreement, U.S. Army personnel would operate the X-band radar
in Israel's Negev desert. Officials said the radar, linked to the U.S. Joint
Tactical Ground Station, would be brought to Israel by the U.S. European
Command in 2009.
