IAI Reports Sharp Revenue Gain

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's leading defense contractor has reported a sharp
increase in revenues in 2008.
The state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries said sales in the first half
of 2008 reached $1.905 billion, a 20 percent increase over the same period
last year. The company, a leading rival of the publicly-traded Elbit
Systems, said this marked a six month sales record.
