TURKEY'S MILITARY SEEKS TO BOLSTER MORALE
ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey's military has sought to bolster morale amid therenewal of the Kurdish insurgency. Leading commanders have toured southeastern Turkey, where Kurdishattacks killed at least eight soldiers over the last three weeks. TheKurdish Workers Party has introduced new weapons, such as rocket-propelledgrenades and advanced explosives, believed procured in neighboring Iraq.
