Qatar, UK Sign Police Accord

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Britain and Qatar have signed a police cooperation
accord.
Officials said Britain would train Qatari police in anti-crime and
security operations. They said the memorandum of cooperation, signed by the
Qatari Interior Ministry, also envisioned that Qatari officers would help
protect the Olympic Games in London in 2012.
