BAHRAIN PREPARES FOR AIR TRAINING

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Bahrain plans to launch an advanced combat air trainingprogram in 2007. BAE Systems has designed an air training program meant to produce pilotscapable of flying advanced Western fighter-jets. Bahrain has sought to weanoff its dependency of foreign pilots and train nationals to serve as airforce operators and technicians.
