POST-ZARQAWI: SUNNI INSURGENTS STILL ACTIVE
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Sunni insurgency groups remain active in wake of theassassination of Al Qaida chief Abu Mussib Al Zarqawi. The Washington-based Jamestown Foundation reported that a range ofgroups have succeeded Al Zarqawi and Al Qaida in Anbar, the largest provincein Iraq. Jamestown said Al Zarqawi forces were expelled from much of theRamadi region and replaced by other Sunni Islamic groups.
