Jordan, Russia Seek To Expand Defense Projects

MOSCOW [MENL] -- Jordan and Russia have been examining the prospect of new
joint defense ventures.
Officials said the two countries were exploring the feasibility of joint
production of Russian-origin military systems for marketing in Jordan and
the rest of the Arab world. They said Jordan would take advantage of its
relations with the Gulf Cooperation Council states to promote Russian
weapons and air defense systems.
