Leading U.S. Firm In Iraq Hit With Class-Action Suit
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- A leading U.S. defense contractor in Iraq, accused of
negligence, has been struck with a class-action suit.
A former employee has initiated a class-action suit against Kellogg,
Brown & Root, asserting that the Houston-based company lied to recruits
about conditions in Iraq. Curtis Coffey, who filed suit in Georgia on Aug.
19, said he was permanently injured because of KBR negligence,
particularly as a result of its hiring of unskilled workers.
