Hizbullah Becomes Major Force In Iraq
JERUSALEM [MENL] -- The Iranian-sponsored Hizbullah has become a major force
in Iraq, a report said.
The Institute for Contemporary Affairs reported that Hizbullah
has been operating in several provinces in Iraq. The report, authored
by Israelianalyst Jonathan Dahoah Halevi, asserted that Hizbullah,
in cooperation with the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, has been
training Iranian-financed Shi'ite militias to attack British and U.S.
forces in Iraq.
