TURKEY SEIZES WEAPONS SHIP TO KUWAIT, UAE

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has seized a weapons ship that was heading for Kuwait and theUnited Arab Emirates. Officials said Turkish security agents seized the merchant ship ScanBothnia, which had docked in Derince, about 100 kilometers east of Istanbul.They said the British-registered ship, which began its journey from Ukraine,did not report the military equipment.
