IRAQ FORMS STRATEGY AGAINST U.S. ATTACK

LONDON [MENL] -- Iraqi military commanders have drafted a plan for PresidentSaddam Hussein to thwart any U.S. attack on the regime in Baghdad. Western diplomatic and Iraqi opposition sources said the plan is said tostress a defense around Baghdad and the grounding of all combat airmissions. They said the Iraqi strategy intends to force U.S. troops intourban areas where they can be pinned down by Saddam's military and irregularforces.
