IRAN SEEKS TO EXPAND OIL PRODUCTION

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Iran intends to expand oil production capacity over thenext year. Officials said the Islamic republic will begin operations at the Zagrosoil field in the second quarter of 2004. They said the Zagros field isexpected to produce 100,000 barrels per day by 2006.
