Jihad Forms Splinter Group To Attack Israel

GAZA CITY [MENL] -- The Iranian-sponsored Islamic Jihad has formed a
splinter group to enable attacks on Israel from the Gaza Strip.
Hamas officials said the Al Quds Brigade has decided to formally leave
the Jihad movement. They said the move was meant to enable Palestinian
missile and other attacks on Israel from the Gaza Strip. Jihad was one of
several Palestinian militias in the Gaza Strip that agreed to a ceasefire
with Israel in June 2008.
