BVR BOUGHT BY ISRAELI GROUP

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- An ailing Israeli defense contractor has been bought by agroup of local investors. BVR Systems has been bought from the Elisra Group by an Israelicorporation in a deal that executives acknowledge might not save the defensecontractor. Chun Holdings, controlled by Aviv Tzidon, has bought 67 percentof BVR's outstanding shares.
