Iraq Signs Gas Deal With Western Major

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- Iraq has signed a natural gas agreement with a Western
energy major.
The Iraqi Oil Ministry has signed a multi-billion dollar natural gas
deal with Royal Dutch Shell. to develop reserves in the southern province of
Basra. The signing on Sept. 22 with Iraq's state-owned Southern Gas Co.
