UAE Ready To Launch First Recon Satellite

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates has completed preparations for
the launch of its first reconnaissance satellite.
Officials said the DubaiSat-1 remote sensing satellite would be launched
later in 2008. They said DubaiSat-1, the UAE's first remote-sensing,
earth observation satellite, would be sent into orbit by a Russian space
launch vehicle.
