U.S. Prosecutes 16 In Plot To Enhance Iranian IEDs

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has been prosecuting companies and
individuals on plotting to sell restricted bombing components for attacks in
Afghanistan and Iraq.
The Justice Department has overseen the prosecution of 16 foreigners and
companies charged with selling Iran components for improvised explosive
devices. The department has asserted that the defendants supplied
U.S.-origin components for IED attacks in Afghanistan and Iraq. So far, none
of the suspects have been arrested.
