European Hostages Move To Libya
CAIRO [MENL] -- The European hostage crisis has moved from Egypt through
Sudan to Libya.
Officials said 11 European tourists and eight Egyptian staffers were
moved from Sudan into neighboring Libya in the longest running hostage
crisis in the region in more than a decade. They said Sudan has informed
Libya of the movement of the abductors and their hostages.
"The kidnappers are moving in a very remote mountain region between the
borders of Egypt, Sudan and Libya," an official said.
