Saudi Arabia Mulls Italian Air Trainer

LONDON [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia was said to be examining an advanced
Italian-origin air trainer.
Industry sources said the Royal Saudi Air Force was discussing the
procurement of the M-346 air trainer from Italy's Alenia Aermacchi. The
sources said the Saudis were briefed on the advanced jet trainer and viewed
footage of trials that took place in the United Arab Emirates in 2007.
