IDEX Intends To Expand Naval Component

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates intends to expand the naval
component of its biannual defense exhibition.
Organizers said the International Defence Exhibition & Conference would
expand its naval component for the 2009 show in Abu Dhabi. They said the Abu
Dhabi port was being dredged to accommodate naval frigates as part of plans
to focus the next exhibition on maritime security.
