U.S. STRUGGLES TO ARMOR VEHICLES IN IRAQ
BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The U.S. Army has fallen behind in efforts to armorsupply and other non-combat vehicles in Iraq. Officials said that despite Defense Department allocations, the army hasbeen struggling to keep up with the demand for the armoring of thousands oftrucks and other supply vehicles in Iraq. They said the result has been adrop in morale among reserve and National Guard units, deployed to maintainthe logistics network of the U.S. military in that Arab country.
