UNMANNED COPTER SEEKS NON-METALLIC MUNITIONS

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States seeks to develop an unmannedcombat helicopter based on the use of lightweight non-metallic munitions. The project is being sought by the Homeland Security Department,which has determined a requirement for an unmanned helicopter that couldmonitor and battle insurgents or hostages without exposing troops to enemyfire. Dragonfly Pictures has developed the DP-4X unmanned helicopter.
